If you had a superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation or flying.
Describe your perfect day.
I had a perfect day when I went to Blet lake in Slovakia. That afternoon was the best I ever had. There was a huge lake with clear water and huge white swans. The alps were on one side, and there was one mountain with a castle on top. The moon was full and that evening I was in Kranjskagora with five friends. We went to the forest and almost got lost. I remember a little wooden bridge at one point. I liked that day a lot.
What characteristic do you most admire in others?
The capacity to dream and make dreams come true. And also the ability to empathise with the planet, the animals and the people.
What don’t you like in others?
Selfishness – people who think they have nothing to do with the things that surround them.
What characteristic do you like in yourself?
I never find anything impossible. I flow with what happens and when I want something, it works out somehow. I do what I want for a living and survive economically helping the planet and others.
What don’t you like?
I find it difficult to focus. I have a lot of ideas and end up not finishing a lot of projects.
When was your happiest moment?
I had just broken up with a previous relationship. We’d been living together and I was miserable. That day I found out I had been selected for a student event in Norway. I was to take part in a literature programme and they were paying for my flight there. I had forgotten I’d applied so it was a great surprise.
What’s the love of your life?
Nature. As a Pagan, it’s what my religion stands for. I became a Pagan after I read the Bible at about 10 years-old and decided I didn’t like it, so started to read about different philosophies. At first I was attracted to Buddhism and Taoism. Then I read about Paganism and I think it connected with my Spanish blood.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Whatever you think, it comes true. It’s the first law of metaphysics.
Have you ever seen something you can’t explain?
Last February I went to Mendoza to do an initiation ritual with some students. We were walking up a mountain, and had left offerings along the way. At the top we saw an eagle. We stopped and she looked at us then spread her wings and flew right over us. We felt like we were definitely in the right place at the right moment.
